Changing My Life (by Ba Nguyen): We have always worked hard all our life but somehow we've never been able to make ends meet for our family. One way or another, something unexpected always came up. Thank God and thanks to the Kinh5 Foundation, the roof and walls of our house have now been repaired. Our family has never felt happier. From now on, our children do not have to worry about the rain every night. Also many thanks to the men and women workers that came and helped out with the work.

From A Handicap Woman..

I am grateful to God... I have been living in poverty and indeed a rather pitiful life ever since I got very sick and as a result both of my legs became paralyzed more than 20 years ago. But I feel God has heard my prayers and has sent QBA (Quy Bac Ai Foundation) to help provide me with needed food, medicine and clothing. I pray every day for QBA to be able to continue helping other people less fortunate like me. Thank you QBA

The Power of "Human Contact" to the hopeless

The Power of "Human Contact" to the hopeless. There is a more precious thing I learned from my visits and charity work in Vietnam I want to share with you, which is the value of "human contact." I was unable to express my emotions when I held a less fortunate man in my heart and felt the other small body was shaking. He seemed to have been forgotten by society or had been thrown out of family life a long time ago. The desire was to show a little tenderness, and its happiness seems endless.

For Help Between Dead and Alive

For Help Between Dead and Alive When my husband was very sick and our house was leaking all over the place, I could not find a dry place for him to rest and did not know where to turn to for help. People who live in my neighborhood are all poor. They could barely make it. I wished that there would be someone there to loan me some money and that there would be a place where I can go to for help. Then, it was like a miracle for my family to be contacted by QBA Kinh5 Foundation and offered help....

What was happening to my eye when I was five years old...

What was happening to my eye when I was five years old... When I was about 5 years old, "same age as Hồng Cẩm in project Urgent Care”, I remember my left eye was swelling so much that it effected the nerve system in my body that almost caused irreversible blindness in my left eye. “Almost”. I remember my Dad tried everything from Chineses medications to the most modern technology available in hospitals that we could afford to get my eye treated. I grew up in a very poor family where rice farming was our main source of income each year...

Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that will last a life time

Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge, that will last a life time... Education is one of Kinh5 Foundation's core values. During 2011, a “School Infrastructure” project rolled out nicely to rebuild Kinh5 School's fence, gate, and yard. And most importantly, a motivational momentum was created during the awards and scholarship event. We saw that students were listening carefully during the ceremony, taking on the advice of LM Mai Xuan Triet and Mr. Trong's presentation...
