BUILD-A-BRIDGE
 
A. Background: 
Located in Kinh5A, Kien Giang, Vietnam; a bridge has been built to connect the banks on opposite sides of the Kinh5 River. This bridge connects Kinh5A Middle School on one end of the bank, and Tan Chu Parish Church on the other bank across the Kinh5 River. The original bridge was built in the early 1960s when our great grandparents first moved onto farming lands. 
 
B. Program: 
A repleacement bridge has been temporarily built by Kinh5 Foundation by using local labor and materials. Due to the high levels of water, the bridge has been built higher and wider to provide enough clearance for boats to naviagte under during rainy and stormy seasons. The bridge has also been bult to decrease pedrestrian and motorcycle traffic. 
 
C. Results:
The contributions made to Kinh 5 Foundtation has made huge difference. We are connecting Kinh 5 people together and are able to give back to the community. THe remaining $10k has been contributed from local sources in Vietnam.
